About
Regardless of who you are, we all face tough issues. Sometimes you may be able to improve your situation on your own; other times it takes some outside guidance. I’ve been privileged to be that helper for many people. I love seeing what God can do through people’s lives as the ultimate source of healing and restoration. I offer practical tools to help you deal with the issues of life using evidence-based research along with biblical wisdom. By seeking the Lord and doing the work in therapy, you can experience real, lasting change.
My Goal as a Christian Counselor
My goal in Christian counseling is to point you toward the true source of help and support: the God of the Bible, the Author of healing and restoration. My hope is that through our time together, your faith will be strengthened and you will gain practical wisdom from evidence-based research and the Bible to help you walk through life’s challenges. From our initial session, I hope you will feel confident that you have taken the first step toward positive change.
What I Offer in Christian Counseling
I offer a judgment-free space where you can share freely without worry. Counseling has many benefits, one of which is the opportunity to share in a confidential space with an objective listener. I will listen to your story, empathize with you, and help you not to feel alone. We will work together to establish goals and objectives that fit your specific situation. While I am here for guidance and support, it is my firm belief that active participation from the client both during and between sessions is essential for change.
My Approach to Christian Counseling
I believe God gave us knowledge to know about the world He created. This includes science, psychology, and the Bible. In my practice, I use evidence-based research and draw from biblical wisdom. Both can be very effective in therapy. As a follower of Christ, I can’t imagine not using my deep faith to help me through life, and I enjoy sharing this faith with my clients and incorporating it into our sessions.
