About
One of my goals as your counselor is to help you find healing and wholeness in every area of your life – physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and relationally. No matter what challenges you may be facing, you will not be alone. With God’s guidance and direction through Christian counseling, you can experience lasting, positive change. I am committed to listening to your story and working with you to identify the best path forward for you to become the best that you can be, with the Lord’s help and grace.
My Goal as a Christian Counselor
One of my goals as your counselor is to assist you with your personal and spiritual growth. My hope is that through our sessions you will gain practical tools that will benefit you throughout your life, including the ability to manage your emotions, have more power over your life, overcome adversity, choose what is best for you, take responsibility, not lose hope, and most importantly, have faith in God.
What I Offer in Christian Counseling
I offer a place where you are welcome to be yourself. I will listen intently to your story, provide emotional support, and collaborate with you to seek the truth. As your counselor, I will work with you to develop skills and tools that will assist in your growth and help you overcome your challenges. If you are comfortable doing so, I will open and close our sessions with prayer.
My Approach to Christian Counseling
My practice is guided by my belief in Christ; I consider myself to be a mere tool for our Lord’s work. When taking a Christian approach to counseling, the benefits are endless. By incorporating the Word of God and His teachings into our counseling sessions, we have the beautiful opportunity to be led by Him and have His assistance more ever-present than in regular, non-Christian counseling.
A faith-based approach to counseling allows us to look at Scripture and delve into it to extract its profound wisdom and guidance. Taking a Christian approach will also assist in spiritual growth and allow us to experience life in new ways while having the comfort of our Lord and Savior.
