Men’s Christian Recovery Groups

Texas Christian Counseling

Men's Christian Recovery Groups

Chris Chandler’s intention is to help men rebuild their relationship with God and to help conquer self-medicating behaviors. He believes that the root of addiction is rooted in feeling emotionally isolated/abandoned during a challenging(s) event in life. To help today, Chris believes that having a community to lean on can help to stop the unnameable behaviors. Once a group member is able to garner enough support from this group and other resources, Chris believes they will have the strength to work through the root of the pain. Each group has approximately 8-10 men who are dedicated to a 12-week curriculum that provides thought-provoking readings and homework to add to one’s sobriety tool belt.

WHO CAN JOIN

Groups (all online) are open to men currently residing in: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Nevada, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia and Washington.

*The groups welcome and support recovery for all forms of addiction or self-medicating behaviors including: pornography, sex, drugs/alcohol, food, video games, workaholism, gambling, and relationships.

Licensed Mental Health Counselor

I believe that addiction doesn't have to be hopeless. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT), my intention is to help men and women, through a Christ-centered approach, in healing themselves and their relationship with God. Grace and compassion will be given as you explore what sobriety means to you, identify barriers to sobriety, and form relationships with new people who will support you in recovery. My primary goal is not years of talk therapy; instead, my goal is to help you feel confident and good about life. Recovery is possible. View Chris's Profile
