  • You have experienced a major life change. Whether it’s a financial setback, a new baby, a health crisis, or a death in the family, major life changes can alter the dynamics of your relationship, increase stress, and weaken the bond between you.

When is the best time to go for relationship counseling? Should we wait until we’re having a crisis?

Ideally, the best time to go is when differences first arise. If you tackle them in the early stages, you have a much better chance of successfully working through them and it can help you avoid larger issues down the road.

According to the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, 93% of patients reported being able to deal more effectively with their marital problems after receiving counseling.
