I believe that every person is immeasurably valuable, unique, and made in the image of God. Sometimes having a compassionate therapist who will create a safe, nonjudgmental space for you to share your emotional burdens can be the greatest catalyst for personal change and growth. I am committed to giving my clients 100% of my attention, energy, and effort, because you are loved, valued, and important to God, and to me as a therapist. I am also supervised by an extremely compassionate and gifted therapist, Dr. Marshia Allen, PsyD, LPC-S, who has over 15 years of experience in the mental health field and consults with me weekly on my present clients. Taking the first step of reaching out to a counselor can seem like the most difficult, but it may also be the decision that leads to life-changing growth, healing, and discovery.
If you’re searching for a therapist to guide you through processing trauma, navigating challenging relationships, overcoming symptoms of depression or anxiety, working through abandonment issues, or coping with other concerns, I would be happy to help. Using a compassionate, collaborative approach, I will partner with you to take steps toward your overall physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. One of my goals is to create space for the Lord to provide the lasting healing and renewed perspective that can only come from His presence at work in your life.
I believe no one should struggle alone and I commend anyone with the courage to reach out for help. With empathy, transparency, and honesty, my aim is to act as a professional mentor to guide you through life’s challenges. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship issues, or other concerns, I would be honored to join you wherever you are on life’s journey as you search to find peace and restoration.
My aim is for you to feel validated, heard, and understood and to receive compassionate, knowledgeable care that reflects the love of Christ. I have dedicated the last five years to working with individuals struggling with eating disorders, trauma, abuse, depression, anxiety and more. I currently offer faith-based counseling for children, teens, adult individuals, couples, and families both online and in-person.
With a steady, caring, and empathetic attitude and with Christ as my example, I will meet you where you are to help lift you up. No matter where you are in your journey, I will work with you to discover what empowers you and allows you to see your challenges from a new perspective. I offer Christian counseling for children, teens, couples, adult individuals, and families dealing with a range of issues and concerns including trauma, addiction, ADHD, depression, anxiety, and more. With God’s guidance and direction, we will learn to navigate your circumstances in ways that improve your outlook so life can begin to look lighter.
I work with children, teenagers, young adults, individuals, and families who need healing and rest from anxiety, depression, traumatic experiences, relational struggles, and other wounds of life. As a Christian therapist, I aim to create a space of healing where you feel fully seen and heard, and where you can experience wholeness and freedom in Christ. I will provide practical and useful tools and strategies informed by the latest brain science to help you walk in the original design God has planned for your life. I would be honored to walk alongside you in the redemptive story God is weaving.
As a counselor, my heart is to help teens and adult individuals work through challenging circumstances and see those difficulties in light of God’s heart for them. I believe that healing comes through Christ alone and that the Lord draws near to those who are brokenhearted and makes His presence known to them. My practice also benefits from the wisdom and experience of my supervisor, Julie Northam, MS, LPC-S. I believe that beginning the counseling process is one that takes immense courage and strength and I am eager to see how the Lord works in your life during this season.
As a Christian counselor, my practice is guided first and foremost by my faith and commitment to being a disciple of the Lord. Clients will benefit from my trauma-informed expertise and extensive experience working with high-conflict cases. I especially enjoy partnering with teens, young adults, and their families as they navigate difficult transitions and emerging adulthood. In our time together, I’ll use a client-centered approach to help you build upon your intrinsic strengths, offering guidance, support, and prayer along the way.
