About
We are all broken people in a broken world. The Bible tells us we can expect trouble, but it also says we can have hope because Jesus Christ has conquered the world and offers a path to true redemption and peace. As your therapist, I will walk alongside you as Christ guides us down your life’s road, helping you clear out the roadblocks, fill the potholes, and bring His light to all corners of your life and soul. Together we will unravel His plan for your life, plans for your growth and an eternal future with Him.
My Goal as a Christian Counselor
My first goal in therapy is to create a space that is free from judgment and negativity. Quite often, clients come to my office from hostile environments, so establishing general comfort and goodwill in the counseling space is my primary initial priority in our sessions. Beyond that, my goal is for you to gain a stronger connection with yourself and a better understanding of your relationship with God, finding peace in Him as you live your life.
What I Offer in Christian Counseling
I offer a welcoming, judgment-free space where you can feel free to be yourself and share whatever is on your mind and heart. I will follow your lead to determine what you’d like to address in each session, offering tools and education along the way. After listening to your story and perspective, I will aim to help you understand your own thoughts and feelings in ways you may not have been able to before.
My Approach to Christian Counseling
As a Christian therapist and through my own spiritual growth and connection to the Lord, I desire to incorporate the love and light of Christ into each counseling session. I pray before each session that the light of Christ would shine through me so I can help clients find Him and the path He has carved for them. However, I understand that some clients may find the faith aspect to be uncomfortable. If a client prefers not to incorporate biblical doctrine in session, they only have to let me know, and I will gladly accommodate.
